 Monumental Sales was established in 1917 in St Cloud, MN. The early 1900's were the beginning of the granite era of Central Minnesota with St. Cloud at the center. |

As more and more granite deposits were discovered, the industry grew. As the word of this growth spread, Scottish immigrant stone cutters migrated to Central Minnesota for employment opportunities.
